| Harvey Derbyshire has been in touch with the sad news of John's death.

| Sorry to have to let you know that I have been told John died last Monday of cancer. It is a double tragedy as it is only about 3 weeks ago his wife Kath died of the same disease.

| Funeral is Wed 3 June 1:00pm for Kath and 1:40pm for John and is to be screened live via the web site for Kavanagh and Coates of Heywood.

| John worked in Dial House in the 70's on Works Orders and moved on to manage Telex in the 80's. We think he retired as the manager of Aerial Rigging. John was a member of the Radio Ham club during his time at Dial House.
